Hello Happy Smiles,                                                                                                                                                                                                       Do you know what is 15th May celebrated as all over the world? I am sure your smile will grow wider once you read this. It is celebrated as the International Day of Families, National Chocolate Chip Day (my mouth was watering on this one), and National Pizza Party Day!                                                                                                                                                Founded by the United Nations in 1994, The International Day of Families is observed on May 15 every year to celebrate the importance of families, people, societies, and cultures around the world. I call this a perfect day for celebration, isn’t it? How do you plan to celebrate this day? Do share with us how you made it special?
Here’s today’s ‘What if’ challenge: What if humans were nocturnal?
Today's edition has no feature. No, no, I had planned for one but then such an interesting 'Trip and Tell' came from Atharva Dangi that I decided to postpone the planned feature for next week and print Atharva's travelogue in the space for the feature on Page 3. I am sure you will love reading it.                                                                                                                                             The lead news on page 1 is about the Pandas in the Canadian Zoo that will have to return to China due to shortage of food for them in Canada. The second news is about the 1500 years old skeletons of women warriors that have been excavated in Mangolia.                                                                                                                                                                                     The third news on Page 2 is about the fastest soft robots developed by the scientists. Can you guess which animal is the inspiration behind them? On page two, also enjoy the lovely contributions received for the last week's 'What if' challenge. A big shout out to Aksh Agarwal, Atharva Dangi, Rani Chand, and Ananya Chaturvedi.                                                                                                          Page 4 has a much awaited review of the book - The Royal Bengal Mystery by Aadrita Ghose and a trivia on the popular story characters by Veeram Thakur.                                                                                                                                                    Do you know when did McDonald's open their first restaurant? Yes, it was today. Read more about it on page 5. This page also has a beautiful poem by Aarush Diwan, a lovely work of water colours by Tejnoor Singh, and the laughter dose of Funny Bunnies by Aakarsh Agarwal.
Enjoy the edition and have a lovely weekend!
