In today's edition, we start the Time Management Program for our readers. Once they have completed this program, they will not say "Where did all that time go?" ever again.

Dear Parents, this is a program in which we need your support. The idea of the program is not for us to manage their time better, but for them to find their own time priorities better and take control of their own time.
We may not agree with their prioritisation - so please remember that we are learning the SKILL of prioritisation. We are NOT creating the perfect priority list. Please resist the temptation to suggest or improve their grid today. It is theirs to make and theirs to own.

Here is what you can do though - spend time reading the first part of the program with them, and help them internalise the affirmations. They need that. If you think it makes sense, spend a few days just repeating the affirmation given at the end of Page 2. When you think the child has truly internalised the affirmation, then take them to the next step. The introductory steps are the most important steps - because he who has a why will find a how, but he who does not have a why will avoid doing it anyhow.

The rest of the post is very interesting too - the main story brings a recap of the situation in Sri Lanka, and a recent update on the same. There is the familiar Word Magic, quote of the day, a riddle, a maze and a mini quiz to boot! The kids are off to a happy Monday start!

Gurpreet's Dreams and Doodles brings a chuckle. Enjoy the edition!
