The book's protagonists are 9 year olds who study in Grade 4. With that, the tone is clearly set. The book should be a delight to that age group.

If you are a young reader who likes mystery, the book has the unmissable Ravi Subramanian touch - lots of hold-your-breath twists and turns in the plot, many threads that come together to form a single, coherent whole.

The inspiration from Secret Seven and other earlier book is unmistakeable, and its nice how that idea works even after much of the world has changed.

The secret meeting room, the password, the code of conduct are all nice touches to a nice mystery story.

The mystery itself is well explained and leaves just a few loose ends.

If you are an older reader, much of the twists and turns are predictable, and the mystery is not that complex.

But, if you are a young reader just starting out, this would be a great book to start the genre with. After that, you might fall in love with mystery as a genre.
