On the 16th of March, as we realised that more and more families across the world are going to be at home, we wanted to reach out and do something.
So, for the last 3 days, we have been posting 3-4 challenges that you can do as a family.
We are sharing those here, and will continue to post them here. Just look for the label "Coronavirus Isolation with TCP"
So, for the last 3 days, we have been posting 3-4 challenges that you can do as a family.

This, too, shall pass.
1. The Sandwich Challenge
Hellos! As suggested by Priyanka, let today's tea-time be driven by the kids.
Let's make sandwiches this evening, and post pics here.
2. The Button Challenge
Today, learn to sew a button. 2 holes or 4, doesn't matter.
And then, post a pic here!
3. Grandparents on the Grandstand
Talk to a grandparent, or someone that age, and ask them just 2 questions:
- What is the one thing that you used to do, which you miss the most?
- What is the one thing that you used to do as a child, but our generation has not even heard of?
4. Post Pictures Here
The Challenge today is to create an album with real pictures. If stationery stores around you are open, get a notebook with thick pages. Otherwise, use a notebook from home.
Take prints of pictures or use prints you already have. Work together to create an album of pictures. Each picture must have a caption and of course, simple details like date, where it was taken, the occasion, and who all are in it.
Post pictures here.
5. Corona Con Call
Today's Challenge:
A. Pretend that every member of the family is in a different state. For this, let each one go to a separate room, or at some distance from each other. Children can be with their grandparents but not with their parents.
B. Have a conference call where every member of the family is telling the others where they are and what they are doing. (All this has to be imaginary)
C. Do this by shouting to each other, and not using phones.
D. If you can make a video, share it here. Else, laugh alone.
6. The Challenge of the Books
Good Morning!
Today's Family Challenge is to read a book for 30 minutes without interruption.
Note: Drink water and visit the washroom before the challenge.
Steps:
The entire family starts to read together.
You get up as soon as you check your phone or look for a distraction.
The last person reading wins.
The challenge ends at 30 minutes. Everyone who has been able to read for 30 minutes wins.
Post pics of winners here!
7. The Cloth Clip Challenge
This idea is by Harinder aunty.
Use cloth or paper clips, and show us how many different things you can make using ONLY these.
8. The Rubik's Cube Challenge
Today's challenge is Rubik's Cube. Pick up one near you, and try to solve it.
If you dont know how to solve Rubik's cube, google the algorithm, and then try. Or just try as it is.
After 30 seconds, if no one in the family has solved the cube, the one with the funniest pattern on a side wins.
Don't forget to share the winning image!
9. The Traffic Rules Challenge
Having two driving licences is an offence in India. True/False?
10. The Super Yoga Challenge
Good Morning! Some of you are now probably isolated as a family. Many countries have effected a lockdown, and some states in India also have limited public movement big time. So from now on, we will do our challenges as a family.
Theme for today: Super Brain Yoga.
How many reps can you do?
PS: There is a reason that we chose this as the first family exercise.
