I think.. that the best part of creating The Best of The Children's Post 2019 was that each one of us struggled to find only five outstanding things in a month. That struggle that everyone reported told me that we are doing something awesome every single day. If, at the end of the year, having seen everything, we still find gems in almost every edition, we are creating excellence. So long as we do that, create something so good, we are, really, doing work that deserves to be done.

The Best of The Children's Post 2019 is a compendium of great features, news coverage, infographics, reader contributions, cartoons, and other assorted stuff. If you have joined The Children's Post journey mid-year, or if you have been a regular reader but don't know how to save all those lovely articles, we've done the hard work for you.

Keep the book near you, on the bedside table, and read pages at random. Every page is different, and every item is unique.

Whether it is the celebration of Vishu all over the country or the UN Day, the difference between Anthropology and Paleontology, the cartoons, or the Art Corner, the Karthikai Deepam or the New Year Special - this 126 page Assortment is a Digest of Digests.

Special Thanks to all the Editor aunties who worked hard to select the Best of TCP, Manjeet aunty who did the August and October months, and Priyanka Singh aunty for doing the cover page and the back cover.

Much Love, from all of us at The Children's Post
