With more of children's woes.
A child's work is play
Mom never sees it that way!
No matter how much you do
Playtime is always taboo.
You have to plead, goad and bribe
For what is the right of our tribe!
Why, I really want to know
Do parents hate playtime so.
My next complaint is on account
of the doctors and their doubts
A little nip, a few blots,
A march to the white coats.
A cardiologist may know the heart
But paediatricians aren't so smart!
Of children's hearts, they know little
If you ask me, they just piddle!
And now we must list
The constantly critical fist -
A reader needs to get some sun
An athlete should get reading done.
A TV addict will need glasses
A player should be in his classes!
Something is always wrong
Here goes the correction gong!
With that, this instalment ends
Fear not, this is just the bend
Other kids will soon tell me
What else there needs to be.
