Hello Lovely Readers,
Today is
Mahashivaratri, which means “the great night of Lord Shiva”. It is celebrated
all across India and Nepal. The festival falls on the 14th day (Chaturdashi
day) of the new moon during the month of Phalguna (Magha) as per the Hindu lunar
calendar.
The lead news on page
one is about two new bird species found during Great Backyard Bird count in
Ladakh. The second news is about Molecular oxygen has been spotted
outside the Milky Way for the first time.
The feature on page 2 is
the last of the series of Padma Shree awardees. By now, you must have realised

exceptional service with full determination and dedication in their area of
work is eligible for the award.
