Hindi Muhavara and Sanskrit wisdom

हितं मनोहारि च दुर्लभं वच: .


It is hard to find words that are both good advice, and good to listen to.
i.e., Sound advice does not sound good, and what sounds good may not be good for us. It is rare to find both.


This means that usually, what we need is suggestions for improvement. But no one likes to hear that they lack in this, or that they should do this differently. Everyone likes praise. It is hard to find content which is good to hear, and also makes us better.
