Thursday, 23 August 2018
Within this week, thousands of accounts were closed by Facebook, Twitter and Google. These accounts were apparently displaying "non-authentic behaviour" - meaning, they were suspected to be bots working to circulate "facts" that "proved" that one party was right, and the other wrong.
It was not just the US population that realised it had been mega scammed in the Presidential elections. This mega scamming is happening to us every day and in every way - our emails, facebook posts from "friends" who truly believe that their opinion is based on facts. All of us are being scammed, right now, as we read this.
Today, we have dedicated 1.5 pages to understanding what is going on, and what we can do to protect ourselves.
There is a lovely poem by 8 year old Sakshya Tripathi - a tribute to Atal ji.
The children's corner features Shri Harivansh Rai Bachchan's famous children's poem - Ruke na tu. Do read it aloud.
Also, the next edition is Grandparents Special. Share your memories of grandparents and things u love doing with them.
