What is OPEC, non OPEC, and OPEC+

OPEC has 13 countries: Algeria, Angola, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Venezuela.

Non-OPEC has 10 countries: Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Brunei, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, Oman, Russia, South Sudan, Sudan.

Together, OPEC and non-OPEC are called OPEC+

OPEC stands for Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries.

These countries control the production of crude oil in the world. Crude oil is responsible for at least 140 products that drive everything from the two wheeler to the airplane and rockets.
It is also the base ingredient in Vaseline, the petroleum jelly.
