Unity Day - October 31st, 2019

Today's lead news comes from two countries - Lebanon and Chile, but is indicative of a larger, global pattern. Do share your thoughts with us after reading the news.

Page 2 has wisdom in Sanskrit, Hindi, and English. Today's Tell us Why is really easy, I think, and the puzzle is really hard. See if you can crack it.

Page 3 has something that will delight you - the entire editorial is a story! This is a story that completely changed my perspective the day I read it. Tell me how you like it.

Pages 4 and 5 are from Chandamama of 19 years ago - August 2000. One is a story, and the other is a full page Amul ad of that time. It is rather interesting. Check it out!

Did you know that it is Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birthday today? Aka Day of Unity. Check out our full page photo feature on him on Page 6

Page 7 has the Sports News, Ishaan's very funny Laugh-a-lot-it-is, Ayush's hilarious Bob Mania, and a Kavita Kona featuring a poem about.. newspapers!

रोज सुबह अखबार

दादाजी को बहुत प्रिय है

तुम भी अपना ज्ञान बढ़ाओ
रोज़ पढ़ो अखबार।

The Children's Post - 20th October 2019

Dear Readers,

Diwali is just around the corner. Here at
TCP, we usually do a special feature on
every festival that we celebrate in India.
Since Diwali is one of the biggest festivals
that our country celebrates, each of us
already knows the story behind it.
So, instead of a story or a picture feature,
we want you to tell us, what is it that you
want to know about Diwali or anything
related to it? And we will build a feature
around it for you. Waiting for your
responses.
