Hello Readers,

Page 1 has some interesting news from India and around the world.
Let us read about the newly announced cabinet of South Africa that is made up of 50 percent women! ISRO has tied up with the IAF to train and recruit astronauts to send to space for Mission Gaganyaan.
On Page 2 , please read a story by Rehaan Gulati about what happened one day in the middle of his vacations. Praneeth continues to educate us about the countries of the world in her weekly column and this time it is about Dijbouti.
Please unravel and inspired by the word on Word Magic on Page 3. If you have ever wondered why blood is red, Mr Owl will give you answer. Then, Srividya has a poem about Facebook Posts that has set her thinking whether they are her friends of her foes.
Last, but not the least on Page 4, we have the sports news. Don’t get lost in our maze! Aditya Nema’s Cool Comix will make you smile and enjoy Anhad Singh Kohli’s colourful piece of art.

Hello Vacationers,
Hope you are all having a wonderful time in your vacations.
An important historical event took place yesterday, the Prime Minister and his cabinet’s swearing-in ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan which was attended by nearly 8,000 people, including a lot of dignitaries. Read more about it on page 1, 2, and 3.
‘Pinky had a pretty frock, and the pretty frock was pink.
Pinky had a peppy pet, and the peppy pet was a parrot.’
Got it? Yes. I am talking about the ‘P’ poetry challenge of last week. A big thank you to all of you, we got some wonderful poems. Read them on page 4.
Page 2 has a special coverage of the special guests at the swearing-in ceremony, especially the Bimstec members.
Page 3 also has the editorial and a wonderful poem by Samaira to showcase the wonderful team spirit amongst our soldiers and their determination to win.

Pakistan Air Space and China's world famous firewall - May 30th, 2019



Today's lead story is what everyone is talking about in India  - the swearing in ceremony of the Indian Prime Minister.
The second news is about the Pakistan air space, and what it means when an airspace is closed. The third news is an update on the world famous firewall of China. Read all about it in today's paper.

Page 2 has the usual - Sanskrit, Hindi, and English wisdom. There is also a tricky puzzle. I call it tricky because it comes under a discipline called "Critical reasoning" - usually, much older students do this. But in a way, it is also common sense. So if you get the puzzle, it means you really have a sound head on them shoulders. Make sure you tell us about it. And do try the Word Magic too.

Page 3 has the 6th article by Priyanka aunty. In today's feature, she tells us what it means to be an Ivy League college. There is the Editorial, and a maze puzzle.

Hello Children!

Politics and elections dominate the news all over the world today and form a chunk of our edition today. On page 1, we get you the final tally of the Lok Sabha elections, 2019. The PM of UK, Theresa May announced her resignation today which is the second lead story.
There is a piece about the Nobel Laureate, the Dalai Lama on page 2 Praneeth Udethi’s column on the Countries of the World gives you information and facts about Denmark.
Page 3 covers the Word Magic, the Quote of the Day and Mr. Owl gives us fun facts about how dogs taste via their sense of smell.
The sports news is about the French Open in the women’s category. Ayush Moitra has contributed a stunning piece of art and Aditya Nema entertains us with his Cool Comix. There is the amazing maze that you must try and get out off as we end the edition. All this on our last page - page 4.

Election Eagre and a special edition - May 23rd, 2019

Eagre means a sudden rise in tide in a river. I think it kind of sums up the feeling around elections. Australia just announced its election winner, as did Indonesia. India will announce today, and Europe will start voting today. All in all, a time to vote. Read all about it in our lead story today. 

The second story is about two important events that happened in India yesterday. 

Page 2 has your favourite - Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Word Wisdom, and today, we have added puzzles, just like you asked. 

Today, I was at the Mindtree School to take feedback from the students about the paper. And I cannot share enough about that. In fact, this edition is made specially for the lovely children who told us so much about what they like and what they want more of in the paper. I learnt some awesome things today, and this is our way of saying Thank you!
