The Children's Post, 29th March, 2019

Dear Shining Stars,
The more I read, the more am I in awe of the kind of stuff you all are doing these days! At an age, where I was busy just completing my homework, trying to understand a few concepts at school, and playing with friends in my free time, you all are creating marvels. This generation continues to amaze me.
One such marvel has been created by Haaziq Kazi, a 12 year old innovator from Pune. Read about him and his innovation on page 2.
On page 1, the first news talks about what is your credit score and why should you keep your data safe. A big thank you to Nidhi Aunty for putting together this news piece. The second news has updates from a new study on the Red Planet; Mars.

The Better India features us on their Facebook Page

Last night, The Better India featured us again on their Facebook page. The response was great. :)

Thank you, The Better India.

What i love best about this is when other parents write things that totally resonate with what we feel, and when they voice the same fears and same concerns that I had 3 years ago - I can't give the paper to my child.
I think.. that unwittingly, we are doing more than a paper here. We are building a community of like minded parents, who want to raise conscious young citizens of the world.
I love being here!

Sanskrit and Hindi proverbs

यथा चितं तथा वाचो यथा वाचस्तथा क्रिया:

Yatha chitam tatha vacho yatha vachasttha kriya:

As you think, so you should speak, and as you speak, so you should do.

Interpretation: This proverb is about integrity of thought, speech, and action.

Hindi:
अकेला चना भाड़ नहीं फोड़ सकता
Akela chana bhaad nahi phod sakta

English:  A lone gram can't bust the oven.

Bhaad is a large oven/kiln. This proverb means that a single person cannot accomplish a large task alone.

Usage: तुम क्या नदी पर पुल अकेले बनाओगे? अकेला चना भाड़ नहीं फोड़ सकता!
Will you build a bridge across the river all by yourself? A lone gram can't bust the oven.
